What the Steam library value calculator checks
The Steam library value calculator reads public owned-game data from a Steam profile and combines it with Steam Store app details where pricing is available. It estimates current store value, full-price value before discounts, priced game coverage, total playtime, free games, and the highest-value games in the public library.
This is a broader Steam account value checker than an inventory calculator. It does not value skins, trading cards, wallet balance, badges, private purchases, or off-platform resale value. It focuses on public owned-game data and public Steam Store prices so the result is transparent and reproducible.
- Supports SteamID64 and public Steam profile URLs.
- Requires the server-side STEAM_WEB_API_KEY because owned-game data comes from Steam Web API.
- Prices the most-played games first to keep large libraries responsive.
- Shows warnings when a library is private, unpriced, or too large for full store-price coverage.
